An Offshore Advisory Firm Built Around Compliance

Mintamint was established in Nakuru to give Kenyan and East African investors access to the same quality of offshore structuring advice available to institutional clients — without the opacity.

What Mintamint Does, and Who It Serves

Mintamint is an offshore investment advisory firm based in Nakuru, Kenya, specialising in the design, incorporation, and ongoing compliance management of cross-border structures for East African clients. The firm works with high-net-worth individuals, family business owners, agricultural exporters, regional holding company operators, and early-stage fund managers who require offshore vehicles that are both commercially useful and fully defensible under current international tax transparency standards. We serve clients primarily across Kenya — with a concentration in Nakuru, Nairobi, Eldoret, and Kisumu — as well as clients in Uganda, Tanzania, and Rwanda who require a Kenyan-based advisory contact with established offshore jurisdiction relationships. Our engagement model is advisory-first: we assess your situation, explain your options in plain language, and produce written recommendations before any incorporation work begins. We do not earn referral commissions from jurisdictions or banks — our fee is our only revenue, which keeps our recommendations independent.

How We Work — Process, Values, and Honest Limits

Mintamint was founded in 2018 with a single proposition: that compliance and commercial effectiveness are not opposing forces in offshore structuring — they are the same thing, pursued correctly. Since then, we have completed more than 140 structuring and banking engagements across Mauritius, Seychelles, the BVI, and the UAE, and maintained ongoing compliance relationships with clients whose combined offshore assets span six jurisdictions. Our team of four senior advisers brings backgrounds in financial services regulation, international tax law, and corporate banking. Every engagement is led by a named adviser who remains your point of contact through incorporation, banking, and annual compliance cycles. We are explicit about what we do not do. Mintamint does not provide legal opinions — formal legal advice in a specific jurisdiction requires a locally licensed lawyer, and we will always refer you to one when that threshold is reached. We do not prepare Kenyan tax returns or represent you before the Kenya Revenue Authority. We do not promise specific financial outcomes from offshore structures, because the commercial benefit of any structure depends on your business activities, counterparty relationships, and market conditions — none of which we control. What we do promise is transparent pricing, honest jurisdiction analysis presented in the azure-trust clarity that defines our advisory approach, and a compliance posture that does not put your assets or reputation at risk.
